St. Joseph's Catholic School

The School Sister of Notre Dame signed a contract to operate St. Joseph's School in 1899. These dedicated nuns educated thousands of Catholic children from Midland, Gilmore, and Lonaconing.

If you have any memories of the nuns, class pictures or anything else you would like to share, please send to me at mamiedawson@sbcglobal.net and/or give to Craig Robertson so that they can be included in the Heritage Room and on this site. Click on pictures for larger view. If you can identify any of these pictures, or have a better copy, please let me know.
