Midland in the Civil War

The town of Midland did not have a Post Office in 1860. The Post Office that served Midland was in Ocean. Therefore, census information was included in the Ocean Census of 1890 for the Special Schedule of Civil War Veterans and Widows. If you have any pictures of these men, or any information on your ancestors who served in the Civil War from Ocean or Midland, please send to mamiedawson@sbcglobal.net
