Joseph Gorman "Crusoe" Robertson was born in Midland Maryland. Hewas in the United States Navy and was present during the D-Day attacks onJune 6 1944. After the war he was employed for a short period of time atthe Celanese Plant and then the Kelly Springfield Tire Company. He wasemployed there for 37 years, retiring around 1984. He enjoyed huntingand fishing. He along with Paul Hollern, Jack "Killer" Hollern, AllenRobertson, Harold Ravenscroft, Tom Stakem, and some others, started anannual Memorial and Labor Day camping trips. This tradition continuestoday. Dad had away with joking with people.

Joseph married Erma Christena Lloyd 10 May 1947 in St. Pauls' Lutheran Church Frostburg, MD.

Julie A. Cashour Frederick (Mrs. Julie Ann Robertson Cashour, 36 of 2504 Old Coach Court,Frederick, died on Tuesday, May 16, at her residence following a lengthyillness. She was the wife of Mr. Charles Thomas "Tom" Cashour, who was her husbandfor over 13 years. Born on Oct. 2, 1963 in Frederick, she was the daughter of Allen Thomasand Mary Lou Eisentrout Robertson, both of Frederick. Mrs. Cashour was a member of the Frederick Church of the Brethren. She graduated from Gov. Thomas Johnson High Scholl in Frederick, in theclass of 1981 and from the Executive Secretarial Program at FrederickCommunity College. She was employed from 1985 to 1988 for NIST for theCenter of Radiation, She was employed from 1988 to Present at theNational Cancer Institute in Frederick. Mrs. Cashour was an avid collector and crafts person. She enjoyedneedlework and counted cross-stitch and collecting Longaberger Basketsand Teddy Bears. Julie greatly enjoyed music and getting away at the beach, specificallyOcean City, Maryland. Besides her husband and parents, Mrs. Cashour is survived by her brother,Jeffrey Allen Robertson and wife Theresa of Frederick: her niece, RachaelElizabeth Robertson of Frederick: her mother-in-law, Tamara Sue Cashourand husband Amir Kahn of New York City, N.Y.: as well as numerous aunts,uncles and cousins. Julie will also be remembered by a special friend, Edward Fesser ofFrederick. Arrangements are being handled by the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home,106 East Church Street, Frederick. The family will receive friends at the Frederick Church of the Brethren,201 Fairview Ave., Frederick, on Friday, May 19, from 2 to 4 P.M. and 7to 9 P.M. The funeral Service will also be at the church on Saturday, May 20, at 10A.M. Associate Pastor the Rev. Lerry Fogle, assisted by the Rev. Dr. ThomasConner, clergyman in the Methodist Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Frederick Those desiring may send memorial contributions to the CommunityFoundation of Frederick, 312 East Church St, Frederick, Maryland, 21701,in Julie's memory to be used for the research for the cure ofNeurofibromatosis.
